The Miracle League of Arkansas invites Verizon Volunteers to send digital cards of kindness and encouragement to children and adults journeying through intellectual and/or physical disabilities in addition to mental health challenges.
Did you know that 1 in 6 children with a disability have mental illness and 1 in 50 kids are autistic which is often coupled with anxiety? Your words of kindness and encouragement will support mental health for Miracle League Kids and Adults as they address mental health hurdles and while self-quarantining as COVID cases continue to be a part of our everyday life.
Example messages include:

- Sending a smile your way for a bright day.
- Hello SuperStar! The world is better with you in it.
